Day 1  Arrive Taipei

Welcome to Taiwan. Upon arrival in Taipei, you will receive meet and greet service at the arrival hall followed by private transfer to your hotel. Note standard hotel check-in time is at 3pm.

Day 2  Taipei – Jiufen – Shifen – Taipei (B) 
Invite you to make your own pineapple cakes before heading to Jiufen and Shifen, the two must-visit towns in northeastern Taiwan. Travel time to Jiufen takes about 50 mins. The highlights of today are: 

 

Pineapple Cake DIY (Activity included): Pineapple in Taiwanese means good luck and prosperity. This is the best experience of making traditional Taiwanese desserts.

 

Jiufen: A charming and historic village located in the mountains of northeastern Taiwan, famous for its narrow, winding streets, traditional teahouses, and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

 

Shifen Waterfall: Taiwan’s “Little Niagara Falls.” The observation platform offers panoramic views of the majestic waterfall.

 

Shifen Sky Lantern (Activity included): Write down your wishes on the lantern and release it to the sky on the famous railway track.

 

Return to Taipei in the late afternoon and leaving you with cherished memories of a day filled with exploration and wonder.

Day 3  Taipei City Tour (B)

Taipei is a dynamic city known for its blend of modern skyscrapers, traditional temples, bustling night markets, and rich cultural heritage. The highlights of today are:

 

National Palace Museum (Admission included): It houses one of the world’s largest collections of ancient Chinese art and artifacts, spanning over 5,000 years of history.

 

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall: A striking white building with a blue-tiled roof, featuring exhibits on Taiwan’s former leader, Chiang Kai-shek. Opportunity to witness the changing of the guard ceremony.

 

The Songshan Cultural and Creative Park: It is housed in Taiwan’s first modern tobacco factory. Built in 1940, the abandoned facility was rededicated in 2011 as the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. It regularly hosts city cultural and creative festivals as well as the Taipei Original Festival. 

 

Taipei 101 Observation Deck (Admission included): Located in Taiwan’s tallest buildings, offering stunning panoramic views of Taipei and beyond.

 

Continue to Taoyuan Airport in the afternoon. The route order and time today may change according to the location of the hotel.

VALIDITY PERIOD	Valid until December 31, 2025 (any changes will be notified separately).
DEPARTURE DATE	Applies to departures within 9 months from the date of booking.
GUARANTEED DEPARTURE*	Except the blackout dates, all bookings will be guaranteed departure if the order is placed 46 days or more before departure and an non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is paid. For orders placed within 45 days of departure, please contact reservation support. *This guaranteed departure policy does not apply to wheelchair travellers due to the additional time required to confirm vehicle type and space.
BOOKING REQUIREMENTS	Client passport copy, flight Itinerary, and bedding type preference.
LANGUAGE	English
DRIVER TIPS	Not compulsory but welcome to reward our friendly driver.
CHILD POLICY	Child ooccupied a bed (2-11 years old): Includes breakfast, occupied seat and admission tickets. Child share existing bedding (2-5 years old): Excludes breakfast, occupied seat and admission tickets.
HOTEL LOCATION	During special events such as concerts or exhibitions, the hotel may be arranged in areas outside the CBD.
ACCOMMODATION	All rooms are run of house, one guest over 18 years old is required to provide valid identification and a credit card for guarantee when check-in.
BEDDING TYPE	Twin room: Two single beds; Double room: One double bed; Triple room: One double bed + one single bed, or three single beds.
OCCUPANCY	Each room is limited to three people (including children not occupying a bed).
VEHICLE TYPE	For 2 passengers, a Toyota Wish or a similar vehicle will be provided. For 3-6 passengers, a Benz Vito or a similar vehicle will be provided.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE	One large luggage and one small carry-on bag per person.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT	Special dietary requests or travel with wheelchair are required to be notified to our reservation support before collecting any payment from your customers. Additional fee may apply.
TOUR GUIDES	A licenced driver-guide will provide the trip explanation based on their years of experience. If clients would like a dedicated tour guide to provide a full explanation of the sights throughout the trip, the tour guide fee will be charged separately.
AMENDMENTS BY US	The itinerary, accommodation and/or the trips inclusions may need to change during your trip due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, include but not limited to road conditions, poor weather, and/or change in transportation schedules. We may occasionally need to make amendments or modification to your itinerary.  No compensation will be provided.
AMENDMENTS BY YOU	Any changes to the itinerary made within 45 days prior to departure will be subject to a processing fee of AU$100 per change. Please note that any fees for non-refundable items already paid will remain non-refundable.
PAYMENT	An non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is required within 7 days (unless otherwise stated). Final payment must be received no less than 45 days before commencement of your trip (unless otherwise stated). For late bookings (generally bookings within 45 days of departure), full payment may be required at the time of request.
CHANGE OF YOUR GROUP SIZE	Prices per person are according to number of travellers of your own group. If a trip fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled. We will charge fees in accordance with the “Cancellation Policy” terms and shall not be held responsible for any related or consequential liabilities.
PASSPORTS, VISAS	It is a requirement that you hold a valid passport with sufficient validity and any required visas for your trip. It is your responsibility to ensure you are in possession of the necessary documentation to comply within the laws and regulations of the country to be visited.
TRAVEL INSURANCE	It is strongly encouraged that you are adequately insured for the duration of your trip. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation, medical requirements, luggage and additional expenses. We strongly suggest you purchase insurance at the time you pay for your deposit.
CANCELLATION POLICY	Cancellations made more than 46 days before departure will incur a charge for the deposit and non-refundable items. Cancellations made between 31-45 days before departure will incur a charge of 25% of the tour fee and non-refundable items. Cancellations made between 21-30 days before departure will incur a charge of 50% of the tour fee and non-refundable items. Cancellations made between 11-20 days before departure will incur a charge of 75% of the tour fee and non-refundable items. Cancellations made within 10 days before departure or after departure will incur a charge of 100% of the tour fee. *Note: Fees for non-refundable items already paid will remain non-refundable. We reserve the right to adjust the price and cancel the reservation without compensation if the payment is not received by the due date.
RESPONSIBILITY	We reserve the right to adjust the itinerary and routes due to natural disasters or other force majeure events, and shall not be held responsible for any related or consequential liabilities or losses.
